Bilal and Shaeeda are excited to announce that they are expanding their family! The couple, known for their appearances in season 9 of 90 Day Fiancé, revealed exclusively to PEOPLE that they are expecting a baby boy. This will be their first child together. They have openly shared their journey toward parenthood on social media and during their time on the show.

“Counting down the days until we meet our little miracle! After two heartbreaking losses, we’re beyond grateful to finally be welcoming our baby boy before the year ends,” the couple shared in a statement to PEOPLE.

The couple first announced their pregnancy on Instagram with a lighthearted video. In the post, Shaeeda joked, “When we agree NOT to tell anyone that we’re pregnant! This is how it goes,” showcasing her excitement about sharing the news.

A few days later, they posted from their babymoon at a tropical beach, enjoying some quality time before their baby arrives. Shaeeda captioned the video, “We are on our BABYMOON! A little 1-on-1 couples time before our bundle of joy comes! I live where you vacation.”

In February 2023, Bilal and Shaeeda faced a devastating pregnancy loss. They shared the news on Instagram, expressing their heartbreak after discussing starting a family during 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After.

“It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of our recent miscarriage. We had been overjoyed to be expecting our first child together, but unfortunately, it was not meant to be at this time,” they wrote in a joint post.

They also thanked their supporters: “We want to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude to all of the family, friends, loved ones, and fans who have reached out to us with love and support during this difficult time. Your kind words and gestures have been a source of comfort and strength for us. While we are still grieving and processing this loss, we know that as we plan and as God plans, God is the best of planners.”
