Lindsay Hubbard, known for her role on Summer House, hosted a co-ed baby shower at the Paris Café in New York City on Saturday. The event took place after she revealed that she and her child’s father would initially live apart after the baby is born.
The 38-year-old mom-to-be, who ended her engagement to Carl Radke last year, wore a sleeveless pink lace dress for the celebration. She styled her blonde hair in a loose updo with an off-center part, featuring face-framing pieces. Her makeup highlighted a rosy glow, complemented by a glossy lip.
Hubbard shared moments from the shower on Instagram, captioning her post, “The most special day for our beautiful baby cub! Starting with the vibes.”
Regarding the venue, Hubbard told Us Weekly, “When I went to see the space, it was just so beautiful and open. During the day, it has tons of windows that let sunlight pour in and feels very indoor/outdoor.”
She explained that the baby shower was unique because it was a joint celebration for both parents. “I wanted my boyfriend to be celebrated and loved and supported by his friends and family as much as I am by mine,” she said, referring to her partner, Dr. Turner Kufe.
Hubbard described the event as a gathering of friends and family. She wanted to keep it relaxed and fun, stating, “I didn’t want a traditional baby shower where I sit in a chair opening gifts. That’s not fun for anyone. People just want to celebrate and enjoy themselves.”
Additionally, in an appearance on the Housewives Nightcap podcast on August 29, Hubbard mentioned that she and Kufe are still living separately in New York City and that she is “not even thinking about moving in” with him during her pregnancy.
