Katie Price has left her fans puzzled after sharing a photo of “twins” on social media and then shopping for baby clothes. The 46-year-old reality TV star was seen browsing in TK Maxx on Thursday, dressed in leather leggings, heels, and a Balenciaga t-shirt.
This shopping trip occurred just a day after she surprised her followers by posting an image of two newborn babies, with her hand resting gently on their chests. One baby wore a pink onesie, white mittens, and a bib featuring Minnie Mouse and Daisy Duck. The other baby was dressed in a beige and blue outfit with white socks, but their faces were cropped out of the picture.
The caption read: “Finally my twins have arrived” followed by a red heart emoji. This announcement left fans confused, as Katie had not previously announced a pregnancy or that she was expecting twins through a surrogate.
It remains unclear whether the babies in the photo are dolls or children belonging to a friend, but fans are baffled by the post.
Katie later shared her friend Emma Kearney’s story about her child’s birth, captioning it: “Congratulations we both have babies now.”
According to The Mirror, Katie is planning to create a Channel 4 documentary that will explore her struggles with IVF. A source from the show stated, “We’ll see Katie go on a tough—and unsuccessful—journey to become a mum again. She faces many obstacles along the way.” The documentary aims to highlight the challenges women face when trying to conceive in their 40s.
Katie has expressed her desire for more children several times. In 2023, during an appearance on Michelle Visage’s Rule Breakers podcast, she revealed, “I tried IVF last year, and it failed, so I’m going to try again. I’m not giving up. I need more babies.” When asked if she had any frozen eggs, Katie admitted, “No, unfortunately, I can only use what I’ve got.”
Currently, Katie is in a relationship with 32-year-old JJ Slater, a star from Married At First Sight. The couple started dating in December, after Katie’s split from Carl Woods, and by January, they were officially together.
A source revealed to Closer that the couple is trying to have a child together. “Katie and JJ met with IVF clinic experts, who informed her that she still has a chance to have children, despite her lower-grade eggs and age. She has explored all IVF options in the UK and hopes this marks the beginning of expanding her family.”
Katie is already a mother of five: Harvey, 22, with ex-Dwight Yorke; Junior, 19, and Princess, 17, with her first husband Peter Andre; and two younger children, Jett, 10, and Bunny, 9, with her third husband, Kieran Hayler.
