Princess Beatrice had a lively night in London on October 22, as she attended two glamorous events. The 36-year-old royal, who is expecting her second child with husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, showcased her active social life.
Her first stop was a launch party for a new capsule clothing collection by Nicky Hilton and Australian designer Rebecca Vallance at the upscale venue Gaia in Mayfair. Beatrice wore a chic black dress adorned with three bows extending from her neckline to her waist, complemented by pointed black heels featuring a white floral design.
The 31-piece collection, which includes evening gowns, party dresses, and sweaters, is designed for the holiday season, according to the Daily Mail.
Later that evening, Beatrice attended a dinner at The Orangery, hosted by Estée Lauder and Harrods. There, she reunited with Lady Kitty Spencer and the Spencer twins, Lady Amelia and Lady Eliza, who are the daughters of Princess Diana’s brother, Charles Spencer. The Spencer sisters recently supported their cousin, Prince William, at the Centrepoint Awards in London on October 16. The Orangery is located next to Kensington Palace, the former residence of Prince William, Kate Middleton, and their children.
Beatrice was not the only royal enjoying a night out; her sister, Princess Eugenie, was also in Mayfair that evening with her husband, Jack Brooksbank. The couple celebrated their sixth wedding anniversary on October 12, and Eugenie shared a heartfelt message on social media, reflecting on their special day.
On that day, she posted two photos from their wedding, including a never-before-seen moment of their kiss at the reception.
The two sisters share a close bond, especially as they navigate motherhood together. Beatrice is a mother to daughter Sienna, 3, and stepson Wolfie, 8, while Eugenie has two sons, August, 3, and Ernest, 1.
“I call her often for advice on meltdowns and parenting,” Eugenie told Hello!. After Buckingham Palace announced Beatrice’s pregnancy on October 1, Eugenie reached out for guidance on what to post on social media. Beatrice expressed her excitement to discuss the joys and challenges of motherhood.
Eugenie added, “Being a part of this mothering journey feels like joining a special club. It’s wonderful that our children are the same age and are experiencing similar milestones.”
As for the new addition to the York family, Eugenie mentioned that she hasn’t yet discussed it with her children. “I haven’t gotten that far yet,” she said, referring to whether August and Ernest know they’ll have a new cousin. “I think August might notice my sister’s growing belly, but they don’t fully understand yet.”
