Drashti Dhami has shared exciting news on Instagram. The popular TV actress and her husband, businessman Neeraj Khemka, announced the arrival of their first child—a baby girl—born on Tuesday, October 22.
Their joint post featured an animated video with a charming baby elephant, rat, and monkey. The text in the video reads, “Straight from heaven, into our hearts. A whole new life, a whole new start. 22.10.24. She’s here!” The accompanying caption simply stated, “SHE IS HERE 22.10.2024.”
Following the announcement, many of Drashti’s colleagues in the industry flooded the comments section with congratulatory messages. Karan Grover wrote, “Congratulations mummy and papa.” Anita Raj commented, “She’s here, yours & Neeraj’s angel. Guruji bless your families with endless happiness. Lots of love.” Nakuul Mehta sent red hearts, while Additi Gupta exclaimed, “Wohhoooooo.” Surbhi Jyoti added, “Yayyyy congratulations!” Jennifer Winget also chimed in, saying, “Congratulations baby!!!!” Sanaya Irani expressed, “My baby girl is here,” and Shakti Arora simply stated, “Congratulations.” Disha Parmar cheered, “Yayyy!” Singer Jankee Parekh Mehta shared heart-eyed emoticons, and fitness coach Tridev Pandey posted, “Har Har Mahadev Congratulations.” Many others joined in with their well wishes.
In June, Drashti and Neeraj announced their pregnancy in a creative way. In a video shared on Instagram, the actress showcased her baby bump while the couple held wine glasses. A banner in the video read, “Could be pink, could be blue. All we know is that we are due. October 2024.” Family members were also seen playing with pink and blue balloons.
The side note in their announcement read, “In a galaxy not so far away, a tiny rebel is joining our crazy tribe. Please send love, blessings, cash & french fries our way. #BabyKOnBoard. We can’t wait for October 2024!”
