Charlotte Dawson has announced that she has finished breastfeeding her youngest son, Jude. The reality star shared her news on Instagram on Sunday alongside a heartfelt photo.
The 32-year-old is currently pregnant with her third child, which she described as a “surprise.” She and her fiancé, Matthew Sarsfield, are already parents to Noah, age three, and Jude, who is 15 months old.
In her Instagram post, Charlotte expressed pride in her body during her pregnancy. She shared a nostalgic picture of herself breastfeeding Jude while relaxing on vacation in her swimsuit. “My breastfeeding journey with Jude has now come to an end at 1 year and 3 months. I feel very proud of my body and my udders, especially since I was still breastfeeding while pregnant!” she wrote.
Charlotte described the emotional moments she shared with Jude during their breastfeeding time, recalling, “He just ripped himself off. I actually got more emotional than him.” She also noted that being pregnant changed the taste of her milk, but she had no trouble weaning Jude off breastfeeding.
She humorously referred to her breasts as a “conveyor belt,” joking that her next baby would be nursing soon. Charlotte credited her experience to the support of Amanda from @throughtheeyesofaparent, stating, “My breastfeeding journey with Jude was so much easier than with Noah.”
Charlotte also reached out to mothers who choose not to breastfeed, encouraging them to embrace their own journeys and reminding them that “a fed baby is a happy baby.”
In other news, Charlotte faced controversy earlier this month when a social media troll reported her to social services, claiming she was “boozing” while pregnant. This is the third time she has been reported, with a previous report made to the NSPCC. She defended herself by sharing a photo of the alcohol-free beverage Nozeco, which she enjoyed during a birthday getaway with Matthew.
She expressed her frustration with the situation, saying, “You low life, you didn’t win or ruin my birthday. I just laugh at you because you live an extremely sad life and waste social services’ time when they have people who really need their help.”
The couple had been enjoying a weekend away as they attempted to mend their relationship after reports surfaced that Matthew had been sexting another woman. Charlotte was hurt and humiliated by his actions but revealed that they were working through their issues.
“Yeah, it’s been emotional, but it’s been like an actual rollercoaster. Everything has felt lifted a little bit,” she said. “We’re taking each day as it comes, especially with another baby on the way.”
Charlotte also opened up about discussing her personal life on her podcast, My Naughty Corner. “I think that’s just the way I’ve always been. It was difficult for me to be so open about my private life, but the podcast felt like my safe space to address it since everyone was talking about it,” she explained.
