Collingwood premiership player Brody Mihocek and his partner, Polly Frankcombe, have announced the arrival of their first child, a baby boy named Arthur.
The couple shared the joyful news with an adorable photo of Arthur, born on October 11, 2024. In their post, they wrote: “Arthur Jasper Mihocek 11.10.24.” Their announcement received an outpouring of love from teammates and their partners.
Jack Crisp shared his excitement, saying, “Heyyyyy Arthur.” Meanwhile, Alex Pendlebury, wife of Scott, commented, “The biggest congratulations, guys! He is so gorgeous!” Annalise Dalins, partner of Josh Daicos, added, “Congratulations!! He is absolutely beautiful xxx.”
Fans also expressed their joy, with one writing, “Congratulations! Absolutely love the name too.” Another commented, “Aww congratulations, guys. Arthur is perfect in every way!”
This happy news comes just a month after teammate Josh Daicos announced his engagement to Annalise Dalins.
Although Collingwood won the premiership in 2023, they missed out on the finals this year, with Brisbane making a stunning comeback from fifth place to win the grand final.
In the off-season, Collingwood has already made significant moves by signing Harry Perryman from GWS Giants as a free agent. The Pies are also a likely destination for Port Adelaide defender Dan Houston, who is interested in a trade to a Victorian club.
With the potential addition of these key players, Collingwood is optimistic about returning to the finals and challenging for the premiership title in 2025.
