Woman Arrested After Pregnant Woman Killed Outside Pennsylvania Wawa

A pregnant woman was shot and killed outside a Wawa in Collingdale, Pennsylvania, on Saturday, according to officials.

The Collingdale Police Department received reports of a shooting at the convenience store around 7:20 p.m. When officers arrived, they found the victim, 32-year-old Latoya Davis, lying in the side parking lot with a gunshot wound to her upper torso. Tragically, she died at the scene.

Witness Evelena Williams, 30, told investigators that she was the one who shot Davis. Williams also mentioned that she holds a license to carry a firearm.

Surveillance footage captured the incident, showing Williams shooting at Davis as she attempted to flee.

During police questioning, Williams admitted to firing one shot at Davis. She later placed the firearm in her vehicle, which was identified as a Ruger .380 semiautomatic handgun.

Officials discovered a .380 cartridge casing at the scene. Williams now faces multiple charges, including criminal homicide, first-degree murder of an unborn child, and third-degree murder.

According to Fox 29, the confrontation appears to have started from an argument, though the details of what triggered it remain unclear.
