Margot Robbie is celebrating the arrival of fall with her chic maternity style. The 34-year-old actress and producer, who is expecting her first child with husband Tom Ackerley, was spotted in Los Angeles on Tuesday, September 24, wearing an outfit that showcased her baby bump.
Robbie opted for an all-black ensemble, featuring a long-sleeved, off-the-shoulder top with a sheer middle that highlighted her growing belly. She paired the top with drawstring pants, black slides, and sunglasses, carrying a stack of papers in one arm and a large black bag over her shoulder.
This upcoming child will be the first for Robbie and Ackerley, who is also one of her producing partners under their LuckyChap production company. The couple first met while working on the 2014 World War II film Suite Française, where Robbie starred and Ackerley served as assistant director. They married in December 2016.
Robbie’s pregnancy was confirmed by multiple sources in July, and she made her first public appearance with her baby bump at Wimbledon later that month alongside Ackerley.
Her recent outing follows their attendance at a September 9 screening of the dramedy My Old Ass in Los Angeles. For that event, Robbie wore a fitted gray dress that accentuated her bump, posing for photos with Ackerley, director Megan Park, and actress Maisy Stella.
In addition to her maternity news, Deadline recently reported that Robbie has been cast alongside Jacob Elordi in a new film adaptation of Wuthering Heights, which will be written, directed, and produced by Emerald Fennell.
Next, Robbie will appear in A Big Bold Beautiful Journey with co-star Colin Farrell. A source told PEOPLE in July that she remained “super professional and focused while filming,” even during long days. “No one suspected that she was pregnant,” the insider added.
Directed by Kogonada, known for Columbus and After Yang, A Big Bold Beautiful Journey marks Robbie’s first major acting role since her successful 2023 film Barbie, which she also co-produced. According to the source, “Margot looked amazing and seemed very happy.” The actress reportedly enjoyed filming alongside Farrell.
