Julia Fox Addresses Speculation on Pregnancy Following ‘Baby Bump’ Post: ‘Oops’

by Jessica

Actress Julia Fox, known for her role in “Uncut Gems,” has dispelled rumors of her being pregnant after she posted a video on Instagram showing a baby bump. The 34-year-old star shared the video on September 17, where she was seen wearing a white cropped T-shirt that highlighted a prominent baby bump. She walked and posed in front of a mirror, smiling and wearing white boxers and bedazzled Crocs. The playful caption “Oops” was written across the video.

However, Fox quickly followed up with another post to clarify the situation. She wrote, “Omg its [sic] for a movie! THE BELLY IS NOT REAL!!!” assuring her followers that her pregnancy was a part of a film role, not real life.

The actress is already a mother to a 3-year-old son named Valentino, whom she shares with her ex-husband, Peter Artemiev. In an interview with Variety in April, Fox expressed her intention to not keep her son out of the public eye. She believes that shielding children from the spotlight when you’re a public figure can be a “disservice.” She wants her son to embrace the experience and be proud of his status as a “nepo baby,” a term used to describe children of celebrities who benefit from their parents’ fame.

Despite her celebrity status, Fox takes a hands-on approach to parenting. In an interview with InStyle, she detailed her daily involvement in her son’s life, including drop-offs and pick-ups from daycare, preparing meals, bathing, and attending doctor’s appointments and playdates. She credits her family’s support in New York, including grandparents, aunts, and uncles, for their eagerness to help with her son’s care, describing him as a “sweetest, most fun little ray of light.”
