Hannah Mooney hinted at a forthcoming gender reveal for Baby No. 4 during the second part of her two-episode appearance on “Get Real with Caroline Hobby.”
In her discussion with podcast host Caroline Hobby, Mooney chose not to reveal the baby’s gender but suggested that a special announcement is planned. “I’m gonna let Shay handle the announcement because he’s so funny. We’ve got to do something fun, because he’s so fun,” Mooney said, promising to share more details with Hobby after the show.
During the second episode, Mooney also discussed her experiences, including intensive couples therapy with her husband, Shay Mooney of Dan + Shay. She reflected on discovering she was pregnant with their first child at 23, just weeks after they began looking at engagement rings. Mooney also talked about the challenges of being married to a touring artist, supporting Shay’s decision to quit alcohol, and more.
In the first part of the conversation, Mooney shared insights into her pageant experiences, her previous toxic relationship before marrying Shay, and their journey together. This segment was described as “real, raw, and oh-so-relatable,” regardless of age.
Shay and Hannah Mooney, who married in 2017, announced their fourth child’s arrival in late July. The new baby will join their three sons: Asher James, 7; Ames Alexander, 4; and Abram Shay, 1.
