It has been eight months since Ciara gave birth to their fourth child, and now her husband, Russell Wilson, believes she’s ready for another.
On Tuesday, the NFL star responded to a comment on Instagram that praised the 38-year-old singer for her impressive post-baby appearance. Wilson, 35, playfully remarked, “so crazy she ready to have another one…”
The comment sparked a range of reactions from social media users. Some urged Wilson to “let [his wife] breathe,” “slow down,” and “leave her uterus alone please.” Others joined in, suggesting Wilson take a break from baby planning to focus on enjoying their family photos. “Stay off that lady. We’re trying to get an album and a tour. You better go look at some baby photos in a tub of ice ,” one user commented.
Conversely, many fans were excited about the idea of the couple expanding their family. One person cheered, “At the rate you’re going, you’ll have a football team.”
Ciara and Wilson are already parents to daughter Sienna, 7, son Win, 4, and daughter Amora, born in December 2023. Ciara also co-parents her 10-year-old son Future with her ex, rapper Future. The two were engaged from 2013 to 2014 but split a year later.
After her breakup, Ciara began a relationship with Wilson, and the couple married in July 2016. They were open about their decision to abstain from sex until marriage.
Wilson has often expressed his desire for more children. In a 2022 interview on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” he even put Ciara on the spot about their growing family. When asked by Alex Cooper about having another baby, Ciara humorously compared Cooper’s questioning to Wilson’s, saying, “You sound like Russ. Don’t get ahead of yourself. Let’s take it one baby at a time.”
Despite the playful banter, Ciara has praised Wilson for his parenting. She described him as an “incredible father” and noted, “Observing him with all our children is truly heartwarming. It’s not just heartwarming; it’s incredibly attractive, if I may be candid.”
