Ms. Rachel and Aron Acurso Welcome Baby Girl via Surrogacy

by Jessica

YouTuber Rachel Griffin Accurso, known as Ms. Rachel, and her husband, Aron Accurso, have expanded their family with the arrival of their second child, a baby girl named Susannah.

Ms. Rachel shared the joyful news on Instagram on April 8. In a heartfelt photo, she lovingly gazes at her newborn daughter, who is peacefully resting on her chest. “We welcomed sweet baby Susannah into the world! We are so in love!” she wrote in the post. “Sometimes timing isn’t what you plan, and the road to get there is bumpier than you expect, but when you hold your little ones, you know… I’m meant to be your mama.”

In her message, Ms. Rachel also opened up about the challenges she faced during the pregnancy. “I was unable to carry this pregnancy for medical reasons, and we were blessed to have a surrogate who gave us the most precious gift possible,” she shared. “We are now all family forever. We have immense gratitude and a deep bond. It’s been a truly beautiful experience. I’m in awe of her.”

Ms. Rachel also expressed her appreciation for her husband. “Aron — Thank you for being the best husband and dada,” she wrote.

Susannah joins her older brother, 7-year-old Thomas.

In March, Ms. Rachel explained her two-month break from YouTube, citing family matters. Her last video was posted in January. The 2024 arrival of Susannah marks a significant moment in Ms. Rachel’s life, as she had previously shared her experience of having Thomas after a miscarriage. This journey inspired her to create a song for her “rainbow baby.”

Ms. Rachel is best known for her educational YouTube series, which has made her a beloved figure among young children and their parents. Through music, alongside her husband Aron, a Broadway composer, she teaches language, encourages movement, and fosters social-emotional development.

In January, a curated collection of Ms. Rachel’s videos was released on Netflix, further expanding her reach.
