Pregnant model Poppy Delevingne concealed her baby bump in a chic silver dress at a private dinner hosted by socialite Ella Richards at the Sessions Arts Club on Wednesday night. The 38-year-old, who is expecting her first child with billionaire businessman Archie Keswick, 44, looked glowing in the tasseled outfit.
She paired the dress with black suede boots and tights, striking a pose alongside Ella, the granddaughter of Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards and model Anita Pallenberg. Ella, who organized the glamorous event, wore a black leather strappy dress as she caught up with Poppy.
Lady Mary Charteris, also in attendance, sported a semi-sheer high-neck black dress complemented by a sparkly bag.
Poppy shared the joyful news of her pregnancy earlier this month, expressing that motherhood is “all I ever wanted.” She revealed that she discovered she was expecting while at a Burberry show during London Fashion Week last autumn. She had noticed her clothes fitting tighter than usual, prompting her to take a pregnancy test.
In an interview with ELLE UK, Poppy revealed that she and Archie are expecting a baby girl. She expressed excitement about the news, saying, “Obviously, I would have been fine with either, and when I was younger, I always thought I wouldn’t find out, but the second we could, we did. I’m so excited. I come from all girls, we’re very girl-heavy. Girls are great.”
Her sisters, model Cara, 32, and socialite Chloe, 39, were overjoyed when she shared the news. Poppy recalled their time together in New York, where they celebrated with her growing bump, constantly talking to and stroking it.
Poppy and Archie kept the pregnancy private until the four-month mark, with Poppy admitting she was “really nervous” and wanted to “protect” it for a while. “It feels like such an extraordinary privilege to be able to do this, to have a baby at this age, and when it happened, I couldn’t really believe it,” she said.
Though Poppy had long desired to start a family, she had made peace with the idea that it might not happen for her until the wonderful news arrived.
Poppy and Archie publicly debuted their romance in July, attending the BST Hyde Park festival together. Archie, the son of Simon Keswick, former director of the multi-billion-pound Hong Kong conglomerate Jardine Matheson, has a private family fortune of £6.35bn and an 18,000-acre estate in Angus.
The businessman, known for his love of house music and his tennis skills, was previously linked to actress Sienna Miller. Before finding love with Archie, Poppy was rumored to have been in a relationship with Prince Constantine Alexios of Greece in April 2023. Poppy was also married to James Cook, with their eight-year marriage ending in 2022. Neither party publicly addressed their split.
