Skai Jackson’s son has already chosen a favorite family member.
The former Jessie star shared a new photo of her newborn, Kasai, on her Instagram Stories on February 3. The picture shows him in a onesie featuring the face of the family dog, Otis, with the words “Otis’s New Best Friend.”
Kasai, whose face is not visible in the photo, is also wearing tiny animal-print socks that complete his outfit.
This adorable update comes just weeks after Skai announced the arrival of her first child. On January 26, she shared a post with a simple caption, “Kasai,” showing her holding her newborn’s hand, while he was dressed in a green plaid onesie.
Skai first revealed her pregnancy in November, expressing her excitement about motherhood. “I’m thrilled to begin this new chapter in my life—embracing motherhood and diving into new acting projects,” she told People in a November 2024 interview. “My heart is so full!”
Following the announcement, Skai proudly showed off her baby bump, including a stunning appearance in a form-fitting brown dress at the Man in the White Van event. In a December 12 Instagram post, actress Keke Palmer, who has a 22-month-old son named Leodis, commented, “My sisterrrr.”
Skai has often credited her mother, Kiya Cole, for her success. “I got to learn a lot being in the industry at a young age,” Skai told E! News in April. “Being able to have opportunities that most kids wouldn’t get. My mom has always kept me humble, and all my friends keep me humble too. That’s really important. When you have a great support system, you can’t go wrong.”
