by Jessica

The 25-year-old influencer welcomed her first baby with her husband, Dakota Blackburn. She shared the joyful news with fans on their joint Instagram, which she manages alongside her twin sister, Bailey McKnight.

In a series of heartfelt photos, Brooklyn can be seen sitting in a bathtub, holding her newborn baby as Dakota lovingly kisses her forehead. She also posted intimate snapshots from her home birth and shared moments with her baby boy as their family of three relaxed together in bed.

Bailey also updated followers on her Instagram Stories, thanking fans for their support. “Baby and Brooklyn are doing amazing — we are all just soaking in the newborn snuggles and learning as we go! It will take a little more time, but we will be back soon to give y’all all the updates -Bailey.”

Brooklyn, who shares the YouTube channel Brooklyn and Bailey with her twin, has built a large following since 2010. The channel now boasts over 7 million subscribers.

Brooklyn first revealed her pregnancy in a video shared shortly after the sisters teased that one of them was expecting, without revealing which. Brooklyn took a pregnancy test, encouraged by Dakota, and shared the news with fans. In the video, she was eight weeks pregnant and heading to her first ultrasound. Dakota wore a “Dad Club” hat and excitedly said, “I’ve been waiting for this day!” Before the video ended, Brooklyn announced her due date as January 23, 2025, though her baby arrived a bit earlier than expected.

In July 2024, Brooklyn surprised Bailey with the pregnancy news in a TikTok video. While playing a game of Tapple with their husbands, Brooklyn casually said, “P… I’m pregnant,” before revealing her positive pregnancy test to Bailey.

In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE in October 2024, Brooklyn shared how motherhood might change her online presence. However, she assured fans that she would not be shifting to full-time parenting content. She explained that the shared Brooklyn and Bailey account will continue to reflect both of their lives.

“I think what draws people to our content is that there are two perspectives. There are two people living two lives on one account,” Brooklyn said. “If someone can’t relate to my experience of having kids, they can probably relate to Bailey, who is enjoying her newlywed life, traveling, and having fun.”
