Sophia Grace Brownlee has officially introduced her newborn daughter to the world.
Nearly a month after giving birth on December 29, the influencer shared her daughter’s name on January 19: Athena Rose. The name has a special connection to Sophia’s cousin, Rosie McClelland.
Sophia, who gained fame in 2011 on The Ellen DeGeneres Show alongside Rosie, posted the announcement on Instagram. The post featured a sweet image of Sophia and Athena standing before gold balloons spelling out her name. However, Sophia has yet to reveal her daughter’s face on social media.
Earlier in January, Sophia announced the arrival of her baby girl in a post captioned “29 | 12 | 24.” On January 7, she hinted at the name in a video, expressing her love for her “perfect girl” and using a pink heart and rose emoji.
Sophia, 21, is also a mother to son River, who is 22 months old, with her boyfriend, who prefers to stay out of the public eye. The couple has not shared many details about their personal lives.
In October, Sophia revealed she was expecting her second child, and she later expressed her excitement about having a daughter. In a September YouTube video, she said, “I really wanted a girl. Of course, I would have been happy with any gender, but I already have a boy.”
