Ronda Rousey and her husband, Travis Browne, have welcomed their second child, the professional wrestler announced on Instagram Thursday.
Rousey shared the exciting news with a simple post: “Liko’ula Pā’ūomahinakaipiha Browne.”
The athlete also posted photos from the hospital, including a heartwarming video of their newborn meeting her older sister for the first time. The couple, who married in August 2017, are already parents to 3-year-old La’akea, who was born in September 2021.
At the time of La’akea’s birth, Browne shared a message on Instagram, writing: “Welcome to this world La’akea Makalapuaokalanipō Browne. You are so incredibly loved!”
Rousey had previously announced her pregnancy in July, revealing her growing baby bump at San Diego Comic-Con. She humorously referenced her own character in her “Expecting the Unexpected” graphic novel, joking that she was “very pregnant” and comparing herself to a character who was four months along.
While Rousey didn’t reveal the baby’s gender during the Comic-Con event, she later shared the news in an interview with ComicBook.com: “It’s a girl,” she confirmed with excitement. “We’re having a girl.”
She also made light of the gender reveal trend, saying, “I didn’t want to start a fire or anything… so I’ll just put it out there.”
Rousey and Browne, who have been together since 2015, married in a Hawaiian ceremony just a few months after Browne proposed in April 2017. The couple celebrated their seventh anniversary in August, with Browne sharing a sweet message on Instagram: “Time flies when you’re having fun.”
