Nurse at Mercyhealth-Janesville Welcomes 2025’s First Baby

JANESVILLE, Wis. (WMTV) – The first baby born at Mercyhealth’s Janesville facility in 2025 arrived on New Year’s Day, making the occasion extra special for one Mercyhealth employee.

Dalton and Xena proudly welcomed their son, Silas, on January 1 at the Mercyhealth Hospital and Trauma Center. Dalton, a nurse at the facility, expressed his excitement about having his son born at the place where he works.
