A six-month-old girl has tragically died after a crash in a multi-storey car park.
Sophia Kelemen, from Leigh in Greater Manchester, was rushed to the hospital after the accident in Tenby, Pembrokeshire, on January 2. She passed away the following day.
Dyfed-Powys Police expressed their condolences, stating, “Our thoughts remain with her family at this difficult time. They are receiving support from specially trained officers.”
Flaviu Naghi, 33, from Wigan, is scheduled to appear at Swansea Crown Court on February 7. He faces charges of causing death by dangerous driving, and driving without a licence or insurance. Police also arrested Naghi on suspicion of drink-driving and drug-driving. He has been remanded in custody until his next court appearance.
The incident occurred on the ground floor of a multi-storey car park in the seaside town.
