Hong Kong, 3rd January 2025 – The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) will host three major exhibitions from January 6th to 9th, 2025, at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The 51st Hong Kong Toys & Games Fair, the 16th Hong Kong Baby Products Fair, and the 23rd Hong Kong International Stationery & School Supplies Fair are expected to draw over 2,500 exhibitors from around the world.
Under the theme “New Play for All,” the fairs will showcase a variety of products, including smart toys, high-quality baby items, and innovative stationery, catering to different age groups. Last year, the fairs attracted around 83,000 buyers from 135 countries and regions.
The exhibitions will run daily from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM, except for the last day, when the event will close at 5:00 PM. Admission is free for industry professionals aged 18 and above, with pre-registration required.
This year’s event continues to receive strong international participation, with dedicated pavilions for exhibitors from mainland China, Taiwan, South Korea, and Europe. The Hong Kong Brand Toy Association will also return to promote local innovation. A new addition this year is the ESG pavilion, organised by the Hong Kong Toys Manufacturers’ Association and the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce, which will focus on sustainability within the toy industry.
The exhibitions will feature several highlights, including a “Brand Gallery” displaying over 340 leading brands. A special “Smart Toys” section will showcase cutting-edge technologies such as virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and mixed reality (MR). New this year is the “Adult Play” area, which will focus on toys designed for adult consumers. The “Green Toys” area, showcasing eco-friendly products, will also return. The Asia Toy Forum will feature industry experts discussing trends, market prospects, and the therapeutic value of toys, along with sessions on toy safety regulations and sustainability.
In addition to the Toy Fair, the Baby Products Fair will display a range of baby essentials, including strollers, bedding, skincare products, and maternity items. Key participants will include the Korean and Hong Kong Baby and Child Industry Associations, as well as a new European pavilion featuring high-quality continental baby products. The Stationery Fair will offer the latest in stationery, creative arts supplies, office products, and gifts.
To facilitate engagement, the event will adopt a hybrid model, allowing both in-person and online interactions. Through the “Click2Match” platform, buyers and exhibitors can connect virtually until January 16, 2025. Attendees can also use the HKTDC Marketplace App’s “Scan2Match” feature to explore products and continue discussions beyond the physical fair.
