HOLLYWOOD, Fla. (CBS) — A shooting at a baby shower in Hollywood left two people dead and two others injured early Sunday morning, according to the Hollywood Police Department (HPD).
At around 1:31 a.m., police responded to reports of gunfire in the parking lot of Jaycee Hall, located at 2930 Hollywood Blvd. The hall’s manager confirmed that the shooting occurred during a baby shower, CBS News reported.
When officers arrived, they found four people who had been shot. One victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The remaining three victims were rushed to Memorial Regional Hospital, where a second victim later died from their injuries.
HPD has not yet identified any suspects but is following several leads. Detectives believe the incident was isolated and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the killings.
