Campbell Puckett, known as “Pookie” on TikTok, has entered a new chapter of her life: motherhood. The social media star shared the joyous news of her first child’s arrival with her husband, Jett Puckett, on Tuesday, Nov. 12, via social media.
In a heartwarming video posted to her platforms, Campbell is seen holding her newborn in a hospital bed. The footage features Jett’s voice as he celebrates the birth of their baby. “My baby has given me another angel,” Jett said. “Daddy’s got two angels—Pookie and mini Pookie.”
Jett also reflected on the emotional experience of witnessing the birth. He revealed that he supported Campbell throughout the labor by holding one of her legs, while a nurse assisted with the other. “We brought the baby into the world together. It was incredible,” Jett shared. “I literally watched our daughter come out of Campbell into the world. I had no idea it would be like that.”
With visible emotion, Jett described the birth as an unforgettable experience he would treasure forever. Campbell, wiping away tears, expressed her gratitude, calling their baby “perfect” and sharing, “We love you so much.”
As the video came to a close, Jett affectionately added, “Perfect mom, perfect daughter. Pookie and mini Pookie.”
A Dream Come True for the Couple
In June, Campbell exclusively revealed to People that she and Jett were expecting their first child together. The couple, who have been together for nine years and married for six, shared their excitement about becoming parents.
“We’ve always dreamed of becoming parents,” Campbell told People. “Jett and I have been together for nine years, married for six, and I’m most excited to see him become a dad — I’ve thought about that since I met him.” She went on to say that their journey to parenthood had been building for years. “Our life has been building up to this moment, and we could not be more excited and blessed to bring another life into the world.”
Pregnancy and Social Media
Throughout her pregnancy, Campbell has kept her followers updated, despite the challenges of sharing her journey online. In a previous interview with People, she opened up about the struggles of adjusting to her changing body and the pressures of being in the public eye.
“It can be hard at times,” she admitted, especially on days when she didn’t feel like being on camera. “Obviously, there are days where you want to just not be on camera,” she said. However, Campbell credited her strong support system, especially Jett, for helping her stay confident and positive.
“I feel so, so blessed to be where I’m at in life and to be carrying this child,” she added. “I don’t really focus on any negativity. I just try to stay confident in myself. And the fact that I have my husband Jett, who is there to support me… he really is so encouraging.”
As the couple embarks on this new chapter of their lives, it’s clear they are both excited to step into parenthood together.
