Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly are expecting their first child together, marking a significant milestone in their relationship. Fox shared the news on social media on November 11, confirming her pregnancy with a heartfelt message. The Jennifer’s Body star posted an image of herself holding her baby bump, her body covered in black paint, and captioned it, “Nothing is ever really lost. Welcome back,” alongside a heart and baby emoji. She followed up with a photo of a pregnancy test reading “Yes.”
The actress, who has three children—Noah, 12, Bodhi, 10, and Journey, 8—from her previous marriage to actor Brian Austin Green, tagged MGK in the first image, linking him to the exciting news. MGK, born Colson Baker, has a 15-year-old daughter, Casie, with his ex-partner, Emma Cannon.
Fox and MGK’s announcement comes after months of subtly concealing Fox’s pregnancy. The couple attended Kendall Jenner’s Halloween party in Hollywood, where they dressed as Star Wars characters Anakin Skywalker and Padmé Amidala, with Fox cleverly hiding her baby bump beneath a robe. Earlier, in June, Fox also masked her growing belly during a summer solstice celebration in Pennsylvania, wearing an oversized blazer and fishnet stockings.
The baby news follows a difficult period for the couple. In 2023, Megan publicly shared her miscarriage experience in her poetry book, and MGK opened up about the loss in his song “Don’t Let Me Go.” In the track, he raps, “How can I live with the fact / That my hand wasn’t on her stomach when we lost the baby?” Fox had also spoken candidly about their grief on Good Morning America, saying the experience sent both her and MGK on “a very wild journey together and separately.”
Despite their past struggles, including a brief breakup and engagement cancellation, the couple has found strength in their bond. Fox explained in a March interview on the Call Her Daddy podcast that she now prefers to keep the details of their relationship private. “It’s not for public consumption,” she said, but emphasized their deep connection, calling MGK her “twin soul” and adding, “There will always be a tether to him no matter what.”
As for her ex-husband, Brian Austin Green, Fox has focused on co-parenting their children. Green, who is also a father to sons Kassius, 21, and Zane, 2, explained in an interview that maintaining a healthy environment for their kids is his top priority. “The number one is always make sure that everything is centered around the experience of the kids,” he told E! News in April.
Fox reflected on her previous marriage during her podcast appearance, admitting she wasn’t always the best partner to Green. “I was young, and really should not have been in a relationship with that level of commitment,” she said. She also revealed that, after her divorce, she briefly tried single life but soon found herself in a relationship with MGK.
As Fox and MGK prepare for their growing family, both are moving forward in new chapters of their lives, embracing the future with their new child on the way.
