A search is underway for a 15-year-old girl who has gone missing in Victoria while heavily pregnant.
Kira Karvountzis was last seen in Drouin, a town located in the West Gippsland region, about 90km east of Melbourne, on November 5.

Both police and her family are deeply concerned for her welfare as she is almost seven months pregnant.

Kira, who is from Footscray, is believed to be heading towards New South Wales. She may be traveling with a man she knows. “Police are worried because of her age, her advanced pregnancy, and the risk of exploitation,” said First Constable Callum Scott.
Kira is described as approximately 160cm tall, with a medium build and long dark hair.
