Alex Beresford, the Good Morning Britain presenter and weatherman, has shared the exciting news that he and his wife, Imogen, are expecting a baby.
The 43-year-old TV personality made the announcement on Instagram by posting a photo of his hand gently placed on Imogen’s baby bump. In the caption, Beresford expressed his joy, writing, “The greatest gift. In awe of my beautiful wife growing Baby B. We can’t wait to meet you.”
The couple received an outpouring of congratulations from Beresford’s colleagues at Good Morning Britain. Susanna Reid celebrated the news, commenting, “The best news – huge congratulations to you all.” Co-host Ben Shephard added, “Ahhh what wonderful news,” while Charlotte Hawkins also chimed in with “Ahh massive congratulations.”
Beresford, who has a son named Cruz from his previous marriage to Natalia Natkaniec, started dating Imogen in August 2020. The pair were introduced by a mutual friend who set them up on a blind date. Their relationship progressed quickly, with Beresford proposing to Imogen on New Year’s Day during a holiday in Majorca. The couple later tied the knot on the same island in 2022.
In addition to his role on Good Morning Britain, Beresford has taken part in several other TV competitions. He competed on Dancing on Ice in 2018 and, more recently, won Celebrity Race Across the World alongside his father, Noel, last year.
