Peter Andre and Emily MacDonagh recently returned from their first family vacation with their baby daughter, Arabella, who was born in April. During their trip, Peter shared insights into the naming process for their new addition, revealing some names that were considered but ultimately rejected.
In his latest column for OK! Magazine, the pop star discussed the challenge of choosing a name for their daughter. Peter admitted, “Naming a baby can be really difficult. We had several names in mind if Arabella had been a boy. Thomas was our top choice, followed by Benjamin, which would have been shortened to Benji.”
He continued, “For a girl, we considered many names. Olivia was one option, but we struggled to make a final decision.” Ultimately, Peter left the decision to Emily, noting, “I’ve named quite a few children already, so I let Emily choose this time. It was a tough decision, but Arabella turned out to be the perfect name for her.”
Peter also mentioned other names they had considered, such as Charlotte and Athena. A month after Arabella’s birth, he revealed the final choice on social media: “After much thought, we decided on Arabella Rose Andréa.”
