Emma Lovewell, the 36-year-old Peloton instructor, has announced the birth of her first child with fiancé Dave Clark. She shared the joyous news on social media.
In an Instagram post on August 28, Lovewell revealed that their baby girl, Skylar, was born healthy after 42 weeks and 4 days. The post included a touching black-and-white photo of Lovewell, Clark, and their newborn’s hands intertwined.
“We’re so in love with her and can’t believe we created a human! It blows my mind every day,” Lovewell wrote. “Currently, I’m feeling grateful, exhausted, and excited for this new chapter in my life.”
In February, Lovewell announced her pregnancy with an Instagram Reel. The video showed Lovewell and Clark dropping pairs of hiking boots, followed by a tiny baby boot, with the caption, “Getting ready for our next adventure!”
She humorously added, “And no, we’re not getting another cat. Baby human coming Summer 2024.”
In October, Lovewell shared news of her engagement to Clark on Instagram. She posted three photos, including one of them smiling during a scenic hike, and another of Clark kissing her on the head. The post also featured a beautiful aerial shot of trees in early autumn.
The couple’s engagement announcement playfully noted, “We’re making it official! #DaveNoIG,” referring to Clark’s lack of an Instagram account.
