An urgent recall has been issued for certain baby sleepsuits sold by Dunnes Stores due to a choking risk. The Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) announced the recall on Monday, affecting Bunny Zip, Lion Zip, and Animal Zip sleepsuits.
Approximately 9,805 of these products were sold in Ireland between May 24, 2024, and August 13, 2024. The recall was prompted by a safety concern that the zip slider could detach from the garment. This could create a small, swallowable part that poses a choking hazard to young children.
The affected sleepsuits are identified by the following style numbers:
Lion Zip sleepsuit: Style No. 6421433
Bunny Zip sleepsuit: Style No. 6421232
