Gypsy-Rose Blanchard is embracing the shift to maternity wear as her pregnancy progresses.
On August 15, Blanchard, 33, shared a glimpse of her evolving wardrobe with her followers on Instagram. In a selfie video, she acknowledged the need to adapt her clothing choices.
“I’m starting to think that the days of wearing cute little crop tops are coming to an end for now,” Blanchard said as she filmed her growing baby bump while wearing a gray long-sleeved crop top.
Blanchard rubbed her belly and added, “I’ll probably get back into them next summer or winter.”
Her followers responded with encouragement, suggesting that she continue to wear her crop tops and proudly display her pregnancy. One commenter noted, “I think pregnant women in crop tops look super cute,” while another urged her to “wear that crop top and show off your belly bump.”
At approximately 17 weeks pregnant, Blanchard recently updated her followers on August 7, revealing that her baby is now the size of an avocado. She and her boyfriend, Ken Urker, are preparing for the arrival of their first child.
On August 10, Blanchard and Urker announced they are expecting a baby girl. The couple celebrated with a special gender reveal. In an Instagram video, they took turns introducing themselves to the baby and then revealed the news with a balloon pop, releasing pink confetti. Blanchard’s caption read, “The moment y’all have been waiting for… It’s a girl! Ken and I are over the moon and so excited to start our family. We’re thankful for our friends, neighbors, and families who joined us today and for all the love and support!”
Blanchard married Ryan Anderson in 2022 while she was in prison for her involvement in the murder of her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard. After her release, she announced her separation from Anderson in March, just three months after her return to society. Anderson, still legally married to Blanchard, is required to take a paternity test under Louisiana law.
Blanchard and Urker had previously been engaged before breaking up in 2019 but rekindled their relationship afterward.
