Loose Women Star Olivia Attwood Reveals Big Baby News and Shares Her Fears

by Jessica

Olivia Attwood, known for her role on Loose Women and former Love Island contestant, has expressed her apprehensions as she prepares to welcome a baby with her footballer husband, Bradley Dack.

The couple, who married last year, have been open about their desire to start a family. While Dack is eager to begin this new chapter, Attwood has voiced concerns about the physical and mental challenges that come with pregnancy and parenting.

During a recent episode of her So Wrong It’s Right podcast, Attwood, 33, humorously described herself as a potential “nightmare Dance Mom” but praised Dack, 30, as an “amazing dad.” She admitted, “I wouldn’t say it’s a bone of contention,” but shared her worries about the sacrifices involved. “I’m going to sacrifice my body, my mental health, and my house, and I don’t want to take any time off work because my ambitious personality is so… I don’t want a day off to actually have the baby. I’m a monster!” she said.

Attwood also acknowledged the pressure of age, noting that the couple are “not getting any younger.” She confessed that while Dack is ready for parenthood immediately, she is hesitant and considers various “what-ifs.” Despite this, she clarified that her reluctance does not mean she dislikes children. “I wouldn’t mind having one myself one day! – but I’m just scared,” she admitted.

Last year, Attwood shared with the Loose Women panel that she and Dack have differing views on starting a family. Reflecting on the concept of becoming a “geriatric mother,” she revealed that she does not yet feel the maternal instinct and expects to start a family around age 35. She told co-star Charlene White, “Brad would love to have one, you know, tomorrow. But I’m, right now, other things excite me. I don’t have that maternal instinct yet.”
