Woman’s Kindness in Newborn Family Welcomes

Ellen Harvey begins her day by seeking inspiration in her sewing room in Chesterfield, Va. For her, working with fabrics, yarn, needles, and thread is a cherished routine. “There’s never a day that I don’t knit, crochet, or sew. Never a day. And I hate housework, so that’s the excuse,” Harvey shared.

When she’s not immersed in crafting, Harvey dedicates her time as a professional cuddler at Johnston Willis nursery. Despite her role comforting babies there, it’s the little ones in the NICU that continually draw Harvey back to her sewing room.
