Scottish parents are celebrating special Christmas gifts this year as they welcome their newborns.

One of the first Christmas Day babies made an early entrance, interrupting her parents’ movie night. Anne-Marie Hunt and Gordon Wilson from Livingston had just settled in for a Christmas Eve film, with their baby due on January 2. But their little girl arrived early, weighing 6lb 7oz at 5:16 AM at St John’s Hospital. The couple has yet to decide on a name.
