Bonnie Chan, a Hong Kong-based Canadian celebrity, is expecting her first child.
On December 12, the 34-year-old shared the exciting news on social media, revealing she is pregnant with her husband, Kuok Meng Jun, a deejay and grandson of Malaysian billionaire Robert Kuok, one of the wealthiest individuals in Malaysia.
Chan posted a heartfelt message with a photo of Meng Jun embracing her on a beach, writing: “First came love, then came you.” She also shared a short video on her Instagram Story, where she gently touched her growing baby bump, captioning it: “I’m going to be a mother.”
Meng Jun expressed his own excitement about becoming a father, saying: “Excited for the journey that awaits.” His post included a video of the couple walking hand-in-hand along the beach.
Since announcing her marriage to Meng Jun in 2021, Chan has maintained a low profile. She first gained public attention as the third runner-up in the 2016 Miss Hong Kong pageant. Following this, she built a career as a television host and actress, starring in popular dramas such as Heart And Greed 3 and I Bet Your Pardon.
In 2020, Chan stepped away from the entertainment industry to focus on her passion for yoga and wellness. She became a certified yoga instructor and launched her own brand.
